Despite a mild winter across much of the counry, Izaak Walton League Salt Watch volunteers found consistently high levels of salt in streams around 10 metropolitan areas. In total, volunteers submitted over 770 test results from 19 states, and 28% of these results showed abnormally high salt levels.
