Planned Giving

Workplace Giving
One of the easiest ways to donate to the Izaak Walton League of America is by contributing through EarthShare in your workplace charity campaign. You can pledge a small amount from each paycheck to help protect our nation's natural resources.
EarthShare manages giving campaigns in workplaces for environmental and conservation charities. As a member of EarthShare, the League is listed in a variety of workplace fund drives, including the largest workplace giving campaign in the nation – the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for employees of the federal government and the U.S. military. We're also listed in many state and local government campaigns, several United Way campaigns, and a growing number of corporate and foundation campaign drives.
If you are an employee of the federal government or a member of the U.S. military, you can donate through the Combined Federal Campaign . Enter our name (Izaak Walton League) or our CFC (10620), then follow the simple steps.

Workplace Matching Gifts
Many employers will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Whether you're making a one-time contribution or pledging a small amount from each paycheck, the impact of your gift to the League may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

Corporate Membership
If you are the leader of an organization, consider becoming a corporate member of the Izaak Walton League! The League provides opportunities for companies of any size to increase their visibility among the nation’s most passionate conservationists and outdoor enthusiasts. Minimum Distribution from an IRA
IRA owners age 70 ½ and over can make a gift through a direct transfer of funds from their IRA to the Izaak Walton League, which is a 501c3 charitable organization. The transferred amount counts toward your required minimum annual distribution, and you pay no tax on the distribution. Please consult your financial advisor to initiate a transfer. If you or your advisor need more information from the League to complete the transfer, please contact us at info@iwla.org.
