The Izaak Walton League Trust is a permanent endowment established by the League’s Executive Board. Donations to the Trust are held in perpetuity and as the Trust grows in value, interest and earnings provide annual support for League operations and to achieve our mission. Your donation to the Trust will sustain the League for the long-term.
There are many ways to support the Trust. You can make a simple cash donation, give a gift of stock or name the Trust as a beneficiary when you make your estate plans.
For planned gifts benefitting the Izaak Walton League Trust, customize the following sample language for your will:
I hereby give and bequeath ______ (the sum of $___, or a specific asset, or ___%) of my estate, or all of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal property of whatever kind and wherever situated, which I may own or have the right to dispose of at the time of my death, to the Izaak Walton League of America (IWLA), a nonprofit organization incorporated by the laws of the State of Illinois, having as its principle address 707 Conservation Lane, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878-2983, and I further direct that this bequest be restricted for the Izaak Walton League Trust, a permanent endowment created by and for the benefit of the IWLA.
