Wisconsin >> Members of the Brown County Chapter kicked off their new pollinator garden earlier this year in a surprisingly colorful way: with the installation of a garden kaleidoscope. A pot in the middle of the structure will hold plants to attract pollinators, which will give visitors a fun view of visiting butterflies and bees.

Just a few weeks later, volunteers spent several hours building eye-catching planter boxes and pulling weeds along the trails of the pollinator garden. They also installed more than 650 new plants to attract pollinators. (Home gardeners know that’s quite a feat.) And it’s just the start of an even more ambitious plan for the property that includes a sensory garden and natural playground for young visitors. That will be quite a view!
