Road salt is everywhere during winter months. It keeps us safe on roads and sidewalks, but it can also pose a threat to fish and wildlife as well as human health. Salt Watch volunteers all over the country are using the League's FREE Salt Watch test kits to monitor for road salt pollution, and that data is used to raise awareness and reduce excessive road salt application. Each kit is a $10 value – your donation of $100 enables 10 clean water advocates like you to find out where excessive road salt is damaging streams!
