Celebrating 100 years of conservation success . . . and building momentum for the next 100 years!
The Izaak Walton League has been defending outdoor America since 1922, when sportsmen and women declared that it was “Time to Call a Halt” to the rampant destruction of our nation’s natural resources.
And we’ve succeeded! Looking back, our record of accomplishment is truly impressive — from creating national parks and wildlife refuges to our decades-long fight to protect clean water. Think about the pioneering role the League played in helping volunteers solve conservation challenges locally with programs like Save Our Streams. Generations of Americans have caught their first fish, shot a rifle, learned to hunt, and developed a life-long love of the outdoors at League chapters across the country.
And now, in just a few short years, the League will reach the century mark. Our 100th anniversary is more than an opportunity to celebrate the past — it’s a springboard to the future.
We need your support to build on the momentum the League has today. From training the next generation of volunteer stream monitors to recruiting more diverse participants to secure the future of fishing, hunting, and shooting sports, the League is achieving results.
By committing to provide financial support over five years, Century Society Partners give the League the ability to work in more communities, engage more volunteers, and achieve more for conservation and outdoor recreation across America.
With your support, we will increase the League’s impact and raise our visibility — through our 100th anniversary and beyond.
We invite you to become a Century Society Partner — and a partner in the League’s success. By making a five-year pledge, you play a critical role in achieving our shared goals for the future.
As a Century Society Partner, you will also receive special “thank you” gifts!
