Ikes have been fighting for clean water and healthy wetlands throughout the League’s history. One of the most important tools to protect local streams and drinking water is the Clean Water Rule. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) adopted it in 2015 to restore Clean Water Act protections to small streams and wetlands.
But now the Trump Administration is set to repeal it, and we need all Ikes to urge the EPA to keep these critical protections in place! Repealing the Clean Water Rule could be disastrous for our drinking water supplies, hunting and angling heritage, and $887 billion annual outdoor recreation economy. What can you do?
