Last fall, the League – with support from IWLA divisions, chapters, and individual members – co-sponsored the Great Lakes Restoration Conference. The event is organized by the Healing Our Waters – Great Lakes Coalition, of which the Izaak Walton League as well as the Indiana Division and the Dwight Lydell Chapter in Michigan are members. The goal of the conference is to bring advocates together to learn, network, and develop strategies to advance federal, regional, and local restoration goals.

The conference took place in Sandusky, Ohio (where the League’s 2017 national convention will be held), so the Ohio Division provided a display with League-specific information for convention attendees. Thank you to the League members who attended this event to represent our organization and continue our work to restore and conserve the Great Lakes.
