The Missouri River Recovery Implementation Committee (MRRIC) met May 23-25 in Sioux Falls. Much of the meeting discussion focused on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Corps’ proposed Missouri River Recovery Management Plan.

On May 15, the League submitted comments on a proposed U.S. Army Corps of Engineers rule intended to clarify the Corps' approach to water stored in Corps-operated systems, including the Missouri River reservoir system.
