IWLA Welcomes New Clean Water Fellow

Clean Water Fellow
Scott Maxham joined the League June 5th as our new Clean Water Fellow. Scott will oversee the Creek Freaks program, which uses local waters as living classrooms to educate students about science, technology, and math.

Scott graduated last year from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, with a degree in environmental science and policy. His studies included a semester of field work as part of the Coastal Studies program. Scott interned with the Fox Haven Organic Farm and Learning Center in Maryland, where he worked with youth to demonstrate stream quality indicators, and the North Branch Nature Center in Vermont, where he helped create and execute an invasive species plant management plan.

Please join us in welcoming Scott to the Izaak Walton League!
