Welcome to the Lebanon County Chapter

Founded in 1939. The Izaak Walton League Lebanon County Chapter has a 36.96 acre property along the Swatara Creek in Union Township known as Waltonian Timbers with a pavilion and attached meeting house located in Lickdale, Pennsylvania.

The land was given to the chapter back in 1949 by Elizabeth Weidman, and made into a wildlife preserve in the memory of her great-great grandfather, Lieutenant John Weidman.

We take part in conservation projects along the banks of the Swatara Creek, host hunting and trapping courses, and have Block Shoots in spring and fall.
