Judge John W. Tobin Chapter Volunteer Appreciation Award

Emily Mack received the Judge John W. Tobin Chapter Volunteer Appreciation Award. Since we have not been able to have any chapter meetings, I met with Emily today to present her with the award.

Emily is very deserving of this award. As a fairly new member, she has jumped right in and gotten involved with the Kampeska Chapter. She was willing to take on the role of chapter treasurer and attends all of our chapter meetings. She has been involved in chapter activities that we do, such as our ice fishing derby, maintaining wood duck houses, taking care of the Memorial Park Trail, and attending our native prairie tours.

She promoted expanding our chapter scholarships to the rural Codington County schools and has worked with those schools to implement the scholarship. She brings some very good knowledge and experience in conservation to our chapter. Emily has been a great addition to our chapter.

Congratulations, Emily! Thank you for being a member of the Kampeska Chapter of the Izaak Walton League.
