League and dozens of chapters join call for investment in fish, wildlife, and habitat protection (9/15/09)

As the U.S. Senate prepares to consider comprehensive climate and energy legislation this fall, more than 600 national, regional, and grassroots groups -- including the League and more than 30 of our chapters, divisions, and committees -- are urging Senators to use climate legislation to invest in habitat conservation and the long-term health of fish and wildlife.
