The goal of the Protect Our Wetlands program is to educate Americans about wetland ecology, functions and values and to provide communities with the tools they need to conserve these valuable ecosystems. Protect Our Wetlands works through several projects to increase awareness of wetland issues and to train citizens in wetland conservation activities. These projects include: hands-on workshops, television programs and Webcasts, easy-to-read educational materials, and technical and networking assistance.
