Clean Boats Campaign Launches Radio Ads in Great Lakes States

The League continues our campaign to engage boaters and anglers in protecting waters from harmful invasive species with a series of 15-second radio ads read by play-by-play announcers during Major League Baseball games in the Great Lakes region.  These ads include information about how boat trailers and fishing tackle can spread invasive species and direct listeners to visit the League’s website for simple steps to combat this problem.  Ads will run the first two weekends in July during Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers games. Combined, these ads will air on 141 radio stations. To listen to some of the baseball ads, click on these titles:

More detailed public service announcements have been sent to more than 3,000 radio stations across the country.
