Tiny Ikes (T’Ikes) Program
Encourage your children to
love the outdoors and they’ll love it for
life – and lead a healthier lifestyle. Join
the Izaak Walton League for our new program
celebrating the wonders of nature.
This program has been designed specially for children ages 2-5. Children must be accompanied by an adult for each program – it’s an experience you’ll treasure together.

CLASS SCHEDULE: SPRING 2013
March 20 (Wednesday): Signs of
Spring
10:30-11:30am
It's
the first day of spring! Look for signs that
spring is here and the plants are ready to wake
from their long winter nap.
April 9 (Tuesday): Shapes
in Nature
10:30-11:30am
Shapes
are all around us – squares, circles,
hexagons. Let's see how many shapes we can
find in nature.

May 4 (Saturday): Spring
"Greening"
Day
9:00am-12:00pm
Learn
how to "green" your yard and provide a
home for birds and butterflies. There will be
plenty of activities for adults and children of
all ages! This event is FREE.
May 9 (Thursday): Birds
of a
Feather
10:30-11:30am
Flap
your wings as we take flight in an adventure to
learn more about our feathered friends.
We will learn about where birds live, how they
build their nests, and see how many different
birds we can find on our nature adventure.
May 20 (Monday): Who Lives
Here?
10:30-11:30am
Where do
animals build their homes and why? Learn about
your "wild" neighbors and search for their
homes nearby.

Cost Per Session (except FREE May 4
class):
$8/child* for IWLA
members
$10/child* for
non-members
*At least one adult 18
or over must stay with child. Younger siblings
are welcome, but slings or carriers are
recommended for infants and younger children
who must be carried. Strollers are not
recommended for outdoor adventures!
Discount: Non-members can also sign up for 3 sessions for $27, 4 sessions for $36, or 5 sessions for $45.
