Geneseo Chapter

of the Izaak Walton League of America

What is the Izaak Walton League of America and who are "the Ikes"?

We are a chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America, one of America’s oldest and most successful conservation organizations . Chartered in 1952, and a member of the Illinois Division of the IWLA, the Geneseo Chapter maintains the Ike's Park located on the Hennepin Canal. Our grounds offer picnic facilities, fishing, campgrounds, a boat ramp, a handicapped-accessible fishing dock, and a lodge for community and visitor use.

Our Chapter strives to develop a love for the outdoors for our community. Each year we sponsor a Multiple fishing and community events. We are proud to support our local youth including Girl and Boy Scouts as well as our local school districts and preschool programs.
