Quad Cities\Davenport Chapter

of the Izaak Walton League

Who We Are

For more than eight decades, the Quad Cities Chapter of the Izaak Walton League (a 501c3 nonprofit) has worked to protect the natural resources of the Quad Cities region.

Our mission is to conserve, maintain, protect and restore the soil, forest, water, and other natural resources of the United States and other lands; and to promote means and opportunities for the education of the public with respect to such resources and their enjoyment and wholesome utilization.

We are a local Chapter of the 'IZAAK WALTON LEAGUE OF AMERICA'. We were chartered in 1946. We have 45 members and have taken part in numerous activities in the Scott County area. We have joined with other organizations toward the Iowa's Water & Land Legacy.

What We Do

As like-minded conservationists, anglers, hunters, and nature lovers of all walks of life, we work locally to promote our conservation mission.

Our chapter's primary interests are focused on local clean water issues, including watershed and wetlands protection. We advocate sustainable living and encourage outdoor users to protect our valuable natural resources while they continue to enjoy the great outdoors.

Donations are welcome and are tax deductible. All goes to help the local community!

"The Quad Cities Chapter is always working hard to promote conservation in our community. Being involved with this dedicated group of people is fun and rewarding!"

-Matt Bamberg
